What's Swimming In Your Aquarium?

This dude has one awesome "real" aquarium >>

The Aquarium Concept.

Pretty sight, isn't it? It's not mine, in fact, I have never had success taking care of tropical fish. It's just not my "thing", even though I enjoy scenes like this. I do have an "aquarium" of sorts, but it has no glass, rock or water, only thoughts and… Continue

The Golden Hour Origins

Posted on February 9, 2009 at 9:40am 1 Comment

"The Golden Hour" is an elusive time, one of God's miracles that happens twice a day, whether we notice or not. Just after sunrise and just before dusk everyday the sun gets low in the sky, making the shadows long and deep, giving definition and a certain quality to the subject that has been sought out by visual artists for centuries. Prior to photography, painters would often set up their easels in these spots in the day, when the light is just right.

As a Director of Photography I, along… Continue

Making Social Networking Work

Posted on January 26, 2009 at 4:38pm 0 Comments

How does social network marketing work? This is a low tech video explaining in a clear manner how to use sites like FaceBook, MySpace. Linkedin and more to benefit you. I had nothing to do with the video, don't even know this guy, but I think this makes a good companion to my previous post "Social Networking the New Year, and why not?" See it on TraceTV blog.

You might check your profile page, I think you put an embed in the title slot for your "About Me" section. So, instead of a title, you have html.

I'm an expat from Ft Worth, living and working in Montevideo, Uruguay. I still have my home in North Richland Hills, and Isabel and I need to return to do some maintenance on it. Maybe we will get back there in late September.

My real passion these days is working with children with developmental problems. My wife and I have cracked-the-code on what causes these problems and how to get the children back on track (developmentally).

You might wonder why I'm telling you all of this? Well, I have had in my mind (for some time) the idea to make a reality show about the work with these children. You might be interested in this because there are two facets to the cure for these problems, and one of those two is rhythm.

Officially, all the psychological and medical diagnoses for all of the developmental problems clearly state that there is no cure for these developmental problems (ADHD, hyperactivity, dyslexia, autism, learning difficulty, etc. . ). But we know what to do that makes the symptoms stop and the children get back on track and catch-up with their peers.

Even after our research proves we indeed do fix these problems permanently, it will probably be decades before there is general acceptance of our protocols by the existing professionals. This is because the belief that these are permanent problems is deeply ingrained in the work of current professionals.

There is a lot more to talk about in doing this reality show. Would you be interested in talking further with me about this?
