Peter is a writer/producer, and script consultant to writers, directors and producers. Two films have already been shot this year which were filmed only after having been rewritten according to his script analysis recommendations. (for more info on his script analysis service, see: www.storylink.com/profile/peterdavidmyers)
Peter currently has five theatrical feature projects accepted onto the slates of four L.A.-based independent production companies. He is a credited co-producer on a reality series in development and is in the final funding stages of a five-million dollar crime thriller which he co-wrote and is producing with a partner.
Peter co-wrote a comedy which was awarded an Honorable Mention in the Thunderbird International Film Festival Screenplay Competition and has received interest in co-financing that project from Creative Artists Agency.
Peter has sold, written for hire, or optioned ten theatrical feature scripts, and done numerous rewrites, all for independent film and TV producers. Two short films, a stage play, and numerous TV public service announcements have been produced from his scripts, among them, nine Chapters in Black American History as well as his half-hour suspense drama, Double Cross (which he co-wrote and co-produced, and which was offered a worldwide distribution deal within a month of its completion).
Peter has developed a World War II feature script with Best Picture Oscar winner, Fred Roos, which was later being packaged as a $50-$70 million epic by the the William Morris Agency. In recent years, Peter was asked by Oscar and Golden Globe nominee Terrence Howard to co-write a theatrical feature project with him.
