Today’s employment report says an increase in 177,000

Goods-producing Sector -6,000
Construction -2,000
Manufacturing 0
Service-providing Sector +183,000
Trade, Transportation & Utilities +26,000
Financial Activities +15,000
Professional & Business +53,000

I am a meat and potatoes kind of guy. When I see that Goods production decreased 6000 and manufacturing was a net 0 I don't like it. That is the bedrock of a solid economy or which all other employment is based off. Put that onto of the dismal GNP in the first quarter, real GDP increased 0.8 percent and 1.1 percent in the second quarter of 2016.
