I recently started a new venture designed to serve the passion of a lifetime, providing up to the minute tax and financial services in the area of complex equitable distribution settlement options for individuals or for family law professionals and their clients. I particularly focus on specialized areas in calculating potential settlements, particularly that of closely held companies that are marital assets. My expertise with a wide variety of small business enterprises in public accounting provides a solid base for evaluating the future business value that needs to be distributed to both parties in a divorce action. A recent significant increase in the number of divorces over 50 has also raised many financial and legal issues especially those associated with factors involving the costs associated with medical and/or residential care for seniors with physical limitations. To handle these clients I have established a new venture Tactical Divorce Solutions, Inc.. And to further my knowledge I have completed Certification as a Divorce Financial Analyst, and am pursuing additional Certification in Forensic Accounting for Marital Cases. My Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology has positioned me to assist in dealing with high Conflict Divorce cases. My goal over the next year is to establish a multi-dimensional low cost program that would assist the courts by providing family evaluations and assessments and co-parenting training. The goal is to begin to minimize the repeat adjudication of custody decisions and at its essence help families and children to navigate the divorce with less stress.
