25 Million Reasons Why LinkedIn / Microsoft Will Buy Coursera
Inside Higher Ed (blog)
Y'all need to tell me if I'm crazy. From where I sit in the ivory tower, free of the burdens of either useful knowledge or accountability for my prognostications, it seems obvious to me that LinkedIn / Microsoft should buy Coursera. In fact, I said ...

Thanks Joseph,

I was wondering how this was going to work.  Sounds similar to Zintro.  But I've received a number of Zintro requests that are irrelevant.  A short response time for the type of consulting I do is not always practical.  It does take some time and thought to craft a decent proposal.

To clarify, only five people can respond to a proposal and then you can't do so.

Henry and Vincent. Pro Finder debuted in January in the NY-NJ area, too. Have seen a bunch of prospect requests. You have to act fast as after five people submit a proposal (or one day) you can no longer submit one through the system. I have been successful in obtaining some business through it.

I am participating in a new LinkedIn feature, LinkedIn Pro Finder.  I think they are only piloting it here in Austin and in California at the moment.  Here is a link https://www.linkedin.com/pro/henryschneider

Check it out and ask me to submit a proposal for your needs.

There was a question at the beginning of March about finding the Contact Information on a connection's profile page.  I just encountered that again when searching for a name and then clicking his link.  The Contact Information tab was not there.  But when I clicked on the short profile URL, lo and behold the Contact Information tab appeared!  Very odd behavior.

According to a report by Computing, cyber-criminals love using LinkedIn as a ‘front door’ for both phishing and whaling attacks.
