Good Afternoon,

Currently residing in Cary, NC after relocating from Illinois in 2007, I'm a widow with a son, 18 years old, who graduated from high school in January with perfect attendance. He'll begin at Chowan University in August.

I'm a Contract Administrator with a Paralegal Certificate, a BA and an MS.  Hired in Corporate America in December as a Document Review Analyst, I was laid off in May after the project funding was depleted. However, I've created a Group on LinkedIn, "Contract Administrators and Document Review Analysts". Please join my Group and invite those with similar interest to join as well.

Kind regards,

Loretta Faheem

Intellihot in my hometown of Peoria, Illinois, developed a high-efficiency, tankless water heater.  They recently received funding for their startup and asked me to create an app that duplicated the functionality of their tankless water heater interface on the iPhone.  The project required a wireless connection to the iPhone, remote programmability of the schedule, remote operation that mimicked the internal panel’s appearance, and fault tolerant behavior.

The hardware wasn't complete at the time, so using their specifications, I wrote a simulator.  The simulator worked like the water heater essentially.  The simulator was connected to a serial port interface to a microcontroller (a tiny computer) that ran a web server.  Via the web server and controller, commands were sent over the serial port to and from the internet.  You could, for example, increase the hot water temperature, program the heater to make extra hot water in the evening, display error codes in plain English, and shutdown the heater in case of emergency.

Once a final revision of the tankless water heater hardware was complete, the controller was soldered on the board.  The software I wrote was then uploaded to the controller.  At this point, you could go anywhere in the world and control the heater using an iOS device.

The project was fun.  I had a chance to exercise both sides of my brain.  I really hope to find projects just as challenging very soon.  Personally, I’ve been tinkering with a 3D display for the iPhone that doesn’t require glasses.

"a tankless water heater", Robert?  Sounds INTRIGUING!  Do you have a write up that you can share with us?

Greetings Everyone.  I am the founder of Gametelligent, LLC.  At Gametelligent, we create software and games for the iPhone, Windows, and game consoles.  We are also open to experimental projects.  For example, we wrote Apps to control a tankless water heater, simulators, object scanners, 3D displays, and more.  If you have an App or Program that requires an experienced developer, reach out to me.  I am also available to brainstorm and discuss any technical issues.

You can check out my resume here  and my LinkedIn page here: Please don’t hesitate to contact me and add me to any social networking sites.  Thanks for reading and talk to you soon!

My name is Kissie. That’s right, it’s just Kissie! I am a blogger and writer (digging into children’s books) I specialize in making people comfortable.

For entertainment/fun/relaxation, I enjoy networking through social media – kinda shy in the real world … so weird. I love movies, not too much TV, reading, and chilling while listening to inspirational music.

I am open to meeting socially responsible professionals who wants to meet me. ;-) Also, I am planning to relocate to Denver from Atlanta within the next 12 months so I would LOVE to meet any Mile High folk. Is that what they call themselves? I’m looking in the Lone Tree area.

That’s it for now, to find out more about me to get to know me better, visit my site at: Or, let’s hook up on Twitter!

Vincent, thanks for this opportunity!
