May I ask if any of you can tell me why you choose to "comment" rather than start a "discussion"?

A discussion helps YOU.

By that I mean: If you start a discussion, other Brandergy members can "Like" and|or share your discussion on other social media platforms.

Of course, if you prefer not to have your thoughts shared beyond your comments, that's fine, too...

Howdy, Brandergy!

I have updated my profile by removing the obsolete reference to my earlier post at fundageek.com . A valiant effort, perhaps, and at the time we gained the most pledges there, but the goal was apparently too ambitious, so no go...

Since then, in (surely!) the Summer of Our Discontent,  we have gone through the High Park Fire loss of our home and office ... but the bioZhena venture did not burn with the mountain home, so I refer you to http://biozhena.wordpress.com/about/ and - if you find this of interest - check out the

bioZhena's Weblog has a running subtitle: "Rerum Naturare Feminina – Medical consumer electronic device for every woman, and useful for her physician, too".

The following comment appeared yesterday on a post in bioZhena's Weblog http://biozhena.wordpress.com/2008/01/11/about-the-edd-andor-edc-is... :

I was just searching for this info for a while. After six hours of continuous Googleing, finally I got it in your web site. I wonder what is the lack of Google strategy that do not rank this kind of informative websites in top of the list. Generally the top web sites are full of garbage.

Using this link to promote your site will get a LOT more coverage for your site: http://brandergy.com/group/promoteyoursite/forum/topic/new

That link is WITHIN the Promote Your Site group but, it will start a discussion rather than be limited as a comment...

Let me give you a quick take on it. MinervaPlace.com is a really first-rate diet, health and beauty website with a major celebrity that greets unique visitors. So, right from the start they're doing it right. It gets your attention. It's scheduled to go live in early 2012, and the projections are staggering with MinervaPlace.com becoming the number one health and beauty destination on the web in a relatively short time.
