*"Be on fire for something. Pour yourself out, and you will never lose energy and vitality in so doing. You only lose energy when life becomes dull in your mind. Your mind gets bored and therefore tired doing nothing. You don't have to be tired. Get interested in something. Get absolutely enthralled in something. Throw yourself into it with abandon. Get out of
yourself. Be somebody. Do something.
*
Don't sit around moaning about things. The man who is doing something isn't tired. If you're not getting into good causes, no wonder you're tired.
*
You're disintegrating. You're deteriorating. You're dying on the vine.
*
The more you lose yourself in something bigger than yourself, the more energy you will have!"

-Norman Vincent Peale*****************************************

I re-posted the above quote from Norman Vincent Peale today, April 15, 2008, because I'm aware that some of you may be a bit discouraged today.

I'm also aware how easy it is for some of us, once we get discouraged, to try to get others to join us in our discouragement, to be discouraged with us.

While misery may love company, so does hopefulness.

Have you been around many hopeful people, lately?

If not, use your networking skills to meet people with powerful hope.

Discouragement is an infection we should resist. - Actually, we MUST resist
discouragement

If we yield to those who are trying to trick us into joining them in their
misery, today, April 15th 2008, will not be the only day we'll have to watch
out for such foolishness as mean-spirited emotional sabotage.

Hopeful people see brighter things and what they see may prove to be
medicine to you.

I want to encourage you as much as I humanly can to protect your hearts when
you sense that certain members of your networks who revel in misery, want
you to join them.

Have mercy on your own heart.

Don't let negative people pull you into their dark loneliness

Rather, use their negative efforts to drag you down to lift up as many
people as you humanly can.

One of the best things you can do is to have fun playing, laughing, telling
jokes with people who openly love you, who openly support you and your work.
Hang around those people you no longer have to prove yourself to.

While there may be no immediate way to get rid of naysayers and doomsdayers,
there is one surefire way you can make the best of this day: "Be on fire for
something."

Then you'll be SUPER encouraged!!
