That's terrific to hear, Louise! (I'm aware of a few members on Brandergy who comfortably follow a gluten free diet ...)

Both Ciro & I are following the "free" diet. He feels the difference as well. It's so amazing to see how soon your body responds and doesn't want the gluten etc. stuff anymore. Your whole eating life changes and you never feel deprived.

OUTSTANDING to hear, Louise! In particular, I wish I could share with you how excited I became just as I started to read this line: " I finally decided to start the process of avoiding a list of the inflammatory foods. So I went dairy free, about 90% gluten and egg free"

And I LOVE this part: "The surprise I got was no more of what I thought was arthritis pain or back aches. Now I exercise with so much more ease and comfort. Plus so many other health benefits...just amazing!!"

BIG TIME KUDOS to you, Louise!  #KeepSTRONG!

Great idea for a group...leave it to Vincent to create interesting connections. I exercise everyday and have for many years. Always knew it was important. But I still had put on some pounds. After much listening and reading of many health gurus (people I know and have joined programs for a long time), I finally decided to start the process of avoiding a list of the inflammatory foods. So I went dairy free, about 90% gluten and egg free. I can't eat chocolate so no loss. Plus limited soy and corn. Within a couple of months, I lost 20 pounds. Yes I was exercising but only for more toning and health. Now I'm short and I was only about 20 pounds over weight for my standards. But the amazing story is with that 20 pound weight loss I went down 3 sizes. The diet reduced my inflammation...and what I thought was "fat". The surprise I got was no more of what I thought was arthritis pain or back aches. Now I exercise with so much more ease and comfort. Plus so many other health benefits...just amazing!! If interested, I'm glad to share my source for my turn around.

Lisa,

I was just in the process of adding a jpeg entitled "A.L.I.C.E." (At Least I Can Exercise) (I created that one for a friend named Alice in Cedar Key Florida.)

By the way: I'm following you on Pinterest via my account at WrightHandMan http://pinterest.com/wrighthandman/

Hi all,

My wife and I just lost 40 and 45 pounds respectively within the last 12 weeks. We've reached our goals of a size 12 dress for her and size 34 waist pants for me. Although we both tried on and fit in smaller sizes today while clothes shopping, a size 10 dress and 33 waist pants.

Anyway, now we must jump into exercising to start the firming up process. To that end I just purchased the P90X system online today. Arrives in 5-7 days and we both are really excited and looking forward to starting. We really want to be fit and trim for the beach season coming up. We live on the Jersey shore and would really like to take advantage of the opportunity we usually try to avoid.

Exercise is one of the most important things we can do for our selves. I'm happy to be a part of this group and will use it to help encourage others and to continue to encourage myself along the way.

Happy exercising everyone!
Kevin
