There is a place you're going to visit for which you'll need to prepare.

Fortunate people are those who are blessed to have spent a lot of time around other people who've made this trip.
It is a trip which can be as alien for you inside your own body as it is for a person abruptly finding themselves on another planet.
But, there are those on this planet who we can model our own travel to this place after: astronauts.
Astronauts visit "stars".
They prepare and prepare and prepare themselves for very short trips to very close "stars" (aka planets or moons).
Likewise for those of us who find ourselves fairly unprepared for the rapidly advancing years we must LIVE THROUGH, we must prepare and prepare and prepare ourselves, as well.
Astronauts must be physically fit, physically strong before going into outer space.
Agestronauts must also be physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually fit before going to the outer edges of age...
Thanks, and #KeepSTRONG!!

Bitterness doesn't come from old age. Bitterness comes from discovering that long-held beliefs are nonsense.....

You can call me old all you want but. I prefer to call myself "a long time resident of Earth"

My age IS NOT MY fault! :-) (Long ago, my parents were just impatient to get me here! (And I thank them for loving me into existence! :-))

Rather than passively accepting that our minds will get weaker as we get older, why not let's be rebellious enough to passionately strengthen our aging minds?

“The secret of a good old age is simply an honorable pact with solitude.”

We can barely imagine ever being as mature as Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was when he was assassinated at age 39.

Strength helps you age better.#KeepSTRONG

A prime example of why your chronological age is a silly thing to worry about is this: NONE of us who're older than 40 want to compare the quality of our own thinking to that of Martin Luther King Jr.'s ...

And as we all know, MLK never lived to be 40 years of age.

So, it wasn't age that made him the person we admire.
