About Me:
I am an experienced leader with highly transferable analytical skills and an executive who successfully drives business by creating actionable insights from big data & analytics. I am able to speak in several corporate languages including FP&A, Operations, Inventory Planning, and Board Room dialects . This allows me to build and lead cross functional teams translating insights into specific actions for each area.

My experience is rooted in 20+ yrs of operations, including buying, planning, and inventory management. I've had direct oversight of $319M average annual inventory, representing 19% of the company's total inventory. For 8 years I was privileged to lead a team focused on processes,which improved productivity and margin for the company.

Professionally I have always asked WHY, HOW COME, WHY NOT. I have a quest for one of two things: 1) A better way do do something and/or 2) understanding the WHY of a business opportunity or issue.

✮ Director of Operations; 2015-2017
▶ Developed & implemented strategy and tactics to drive $100+M in sales volume (85% inc. over a 2 year period)
▶ Enabled programs that drove endless aisle sales to 30% of the total "Yes! We Have It!" merchandise sales, which was an inc. of 24% year over year
▶ Increased associate participation in the "Yes! We Have It" program to 70% (+1000 basis points (bpt) year over year), which equated @ 14,000 associates driving an additional $10M in sales volume
▶ Worked cross functionally with visual and merchant teams to develop an omnichannel signing program that featured additional merchandise that was not available in all stores. Generated 50+ unique signs each season that drove, on average, an incremental $2M sales per season or 2.5% above the base program sales

★ Director Selling Productivity; 2007-2015
▶ Created prototype templates for 5 different types/sizes of stores that utilized historic average selling productivity of similar stores and incorporated future corporate strategies, which helped meet the objective of increasing sales productivity by 5% & inventory productivity by 10%
▶ Established sales and space guidelines for 84 new and major remodel projects that through the 2nd full year, contributed over $339M in incremental sales delivered a sustained 1.3% growth rate (after becoming a comp store), which was 43 bpt over the average
▶ Strategized & planned an approach for the Texas region to achieve 8% sales increase. The plan targeted specific areas (shoes, handbags, home, better vendors) distorting the current trend. I then worked with the merchants to ensure that inv. was in the stores in order to minimize past lost sales. This strategy drove an additional $12M
▶ Improved upon and implemented a “closing store strategy” to minimize EBIT loss during the going out of business process. Generated 16.6% increase in EBIT during the closing timeline
