Is Big Data The New Force Multiplier For Revenue Growth?

Those on the global stage, Fortune companies, event speakers, and executives, share the same traditional and outdated narrative: Big Data is technology that reduces the costs of our IT investments. But, Big Data is more than just that. Big Data provides us with data-driven innovations so strategic that data is now our financial capital, making data our new executive priority. Big Data is our new force multiplier, our multiplier that drives, multiplies, and maximizes our revenue growth.See more…See More

How Do You Drive Your Data Strategy Conversation? | C-SUITE DATA

Data strategy is often too narrow not taking into consideration our data capital, culture, or politics. This makes our data strategy rigid, difficult to align, and hard to manage; all leading to limited, if any successful outcomes. The key to our data strategy is our people and how our people invest in people, infrastructure, and the right things. So it’s no surprise that our data strategy is effective, not from the methodologies or designers in our conversation, but from our people involved in…See More

About Me:
Big Data for the Big Picture Columnist with www.bizcatalyst360.com for Big Data, CDOs, and Leadership.

I'm a management consultant with a data emphasis helping Fortune 100/1000 companies strategically evolve and reinvent their businesses to maximize their revenue growth. Through realignment, to overhauls, to rebuilding things from the top down and ground up, I integrate and solidify leaders, strategies, and solutions into all aspects of the organization. Strategies and solutions leverage Big Data, MDM, business intelligence, competitive intelligence, data science, chief data officers, and data offices.

From business planning, to business development, execution, talent pools, and the nuts and bolts, my industry expertise spans financial, insurance, higher-ed, healthcare, and government. With a personal passion for artificial intelligence I do deep research on its effective use in human capital development, business performance, and education. I am a coach, trainer, and the voice for how data is the new capital that drives, multiplies, and maximizes revenue growth.

My accomplishments:

1. Data-driven product innovations for financial, agriculture, robotics, biometric security, and supermarket pay-at-the-pump. Clients’ revenue growth ranged from 13% to 28%.

2. Aligned, reinvented, and restructured the business model for seven Fortune 100 companies by leveraging data and incorporated forecasting and predictive models. Clients’ revenue growth ranged from 5% to 32%. Clients’ investment cost reductions ranged from 11% to 40%. Clients’ productivity increases ranged from 17% to 25%. Projects ranged from $5 to $200 mil with programs ranging from $250 mil to $3 bil.

3. Set up 13 new competency centers, offices, and training programs for Fortune companies for Data, Business Architecture, Project Management (plus Agile), Business Intelligence, and Business Development.

Big Data for Non-profits

Posted on September 21, 2014 at 4:35pm 1 Comment

The goal for a non-profit is to fund causes through donations. To satisfy this goal the non-profit must reduce overhead costs, attract and retain donors, and increase input cash flow. Big Data can help the non-profit do all of these things.

Big Data helps with administration costs. Donors are very sensitive to overhead costs. Donors want almost all the money they donate to go toward the cause. The higher the overhead costs the lower the amount the donor contributes, the less…

Hi Chris,

I just returned to the US late Thursday night.  So next week will be a good time to chat.  Please let me know what days and times work best for you.  I have a number of meetings already set and Vincent Wright is coordinating a number of additional ones as well for next week.  So my days are a bit uncertain.

With Kind Regards,
Henry
