Hello…I’m Bernie Warren and I’d like to introduce myself to the group. Regrettably, I am, through no fault of my own, a "Can Do" Executive Administrative Assistant in transition in the Northern Cincinnati, Ohio area. Unlike many other job seekers, I thoroughly enjoy my position as it regularly presents multiple challenges, ever-changing needs, and constant shifts in priorities; all within a spiraling and fast-paced environment. It fuels, motivates, and provides me with the daily satisfaction I need to eagerly face whatever tomorrow will bring. Not knowing what that might be is half the fun!
A 10 year expert in assisting busy executives to meet their daily goals and objectives with excellence by utilizing a highly defined follow-up system that insures nothing ever gets lost in the cracks. I specialize in taking over mundane to complex tasks from my executives thereby assisting them in keeping focused on the more important aspects of the business like bringing in new clients and/or sales.
Process and improvement driven, I continually strive to find time and cost savings in everything I do. I have saved money for every company I have ever worked for:
• Discovered an inventory allocation message “glitch” regarding negative inventory levels which resulted in a $500,000 dollar reduction in excess inventory carrying costs.
• Saved an estimated $20K in unnecessary warranty claims by developing, implementing, and managing a quality audit process for field applicators.
• Pioneered a document repository that eliminated redundant work and netted yearly savings of $18K.
A consummate and discreet professional with multi-functional experience in inventory control, purchasing, human resources, and logistics, I am motivated, disciplined, and focused; always striving to exceed expectations.
To keep busy, I’ve been improving resumes for friends, family and fellow job-seekers on both LinkedIn and JobAngels.com. I also conceive marketing themes and design websites professionally part-time. I am an avid advocate for increasing the visibility of Habitat for Humanity (www.habitat.org) Restores - they sell donated construction materials whose proceeds go toward building homes for the less fortunate. I also promote blood donations for the national Red Cross (1-800-448-3543) and the local Hoxworth Blood Centers (513-451-0951) in Cincinnati. You too can be a hero and save a life by donating blood! Call and make your appointment today.
If I can help anyone in any way, I would be pleased to do so. Just let me know what you need!
If you know of an opportunity where you think I might be a good fit, feel free to contact me and to review my LinkedIn profile for further information. I look forward to getting to know you all better and networking with you.
