ONE Life - ONE Creation - ONE Energy
The other day Vincent Wright posted a discussion on Rudyard Kipling's poem IF, being changed to WHEN, to which I added a comment. But, having read it and mused over the content for a couple of days, I was inspired to write a poem along similar-"ish" lines. Here's a little something from ONE Scribe, hoping you enjoy it or find further inspiration, with a laugh.

When You've ........

By - Vaughan Jones

When you've run all your races, and now you're spent,
When you've acted honourably and said all you've meant,
When you've won and acheived most all of your goals,
When you've successfully played out all of your roles,

AND;

When you've obeyed all the laws and rules in your life,
And you've kept the peace, living without any strife,
When you've worked hard, sweat drips from your brow,
And you've provided for your family without any row.

AND WHAT'S MORE;

When you've done all you can, for you country you've fought,
Learned many lessons, done everything you were taught,
When all's said and done, the end of your life here on earth,
Does God pat your back and say without any mirth,

You have done well, my child, here's your reward.

OR,

Too bad, so sad,

Your Dad.

ONE Life - ONE Creation - ONE Energy

Referring to my last comment, I'd like to add to it by telling you that I love the Koi San people of Namibia and Botswana, in Africa. They live nomadic lives but nor randomly nomadic, each clan has a set pattern each year. They live in specific areas, one for each season.

Their belief is that Mother Nature must have time, about a year, to restore herself. So after each season they move to another area and will return again to this area after one year. They thank nature every time they eat. When they kill an antelope they pray, asking nature to forgive them, and re-assuring her that this is not for sport but is specifically for food or to make clothing or utentsils. They then bless the beast and Mother Nature. On a daily routine they are repeatedly thankful for the roots they find to eat and for the water that they extract from these roots.

In The Secret, someone(maybe Joe Vitale) strongly urges us to have an "attitude of gratitude". Could we possibly improve on these Koi San people's attitude to life and the Earth; or do 99% of us take everything nature gives us totally for granted, presuming that the supply will simply continue?

Not the way we're going, it won't.

I love it. Now, when I eat any natural foods like fruit, I make a special point of thanking God and Mother Nature for it.

Do you see what I mean? We're all ONE creation. These people live the most beautiful lives of anyone on Earth,; and they are in the Namib Desert.

Hi members,
Thanks for the group and for letting me join. I am a firm believer in The Law of Attraction, so too the other Universal Laws. As displayed in The Secret, the Universe keeps saying "Your wish is my command", so many of us just don't get it, do we?

We are all part of the ONE Universal creation. Everyone and everything in the Universe is made of the same substance - energy. And energy is simply atoms, in singular form or in a multiplicity of forms. So, except for our souls/spirits, everything and everyone living here is ONE.

Therefor, if all is one, then it follows that the laws of the universe will work for everyone; and they do. We just need to connect with the whole system. If one rejects any part of it, e.g. disrespecting nature by randomly destroying natural habitation and sources, like water and the oceans, don't wonder why the laws of the Universe don't seem to work for you.

I wrote the book One Life-Love-Energy and started the foundation with the same name. Join us in our quest for developing a life of love, respect, peace and harmony among all on Earth.
