Facebook tells us how great video is after forcing everyone to pivot to it
Fast Company
For one, instead of focusing on how video is paying off for publishers, the report talks about how more Facebook and Instagram users are emotionally engaging with video. Which, in a sense, is a self-fulfilling prophecy: Facebook has been shoving video ...

On some days, it seems as if Facebook should change its name to #Angerbook ...

Unfriending isn't always awful. (Metaphorically, it can be like a person who's been holding hands with you letting go of your hand to save you...)

Because they endanger us so much, I don't forward things sent to my inbox with the request to forward them!

I think of pokes as messaging attempts from someone who *SEES* you, kinda LIKES you but, are just too shy or verbally constricted to reach out and have a real-world, fully-grown adult conversation with you...

You're being added to lots of groups.

When your friends see that you're in a group, they're more inclined to join that group.

Thus, your friends *MAY* be joining groups which they think you *INTENTIONALLY* join.

BUT, YOU didn't join the group. Someone else added you to the group ... without your permission.

You may want to make sure you haven't been added to groups without your permission.

If you love Facebook groups and you love your Facebook friends but, your Facebook friends don't love Facebook groups, don't ADD your friends to Facebook groups.  Rather, SHARE things FROM your Facebook groups ON your Facebook wall and your friends can see that content and decide their  reaction to what you share on your wall...
