Angel Investing Revealed

Experienced angel investors, Ron Conway, Founder of Angel Investors LP, and Mike Maples, Founder of Maples Investments, provide a rare look into the ins and outs of angel investing. Conway and Maples discuss how angel investors assess opportunities, provide assistance to entrepreneurs and transition start-ups to larger venture investments or exit. In addition, Conway and Maples provide advice to entrepreneurs about finding one's passion and developing that passion into new ventures, including insight into how much money to raise and how to manage that money after it is in the bank.

If you are asking about the paperwork to consummate a deal - then it will depend upon the type of transaction. If you are dealing with a "professional" angel - they may well present you with a term sheet that leads to an agreement, which will then be finalized by a legal document such as a stock purchase agreement.

Depending upon the specific situation, one could also use a Subscription Agreement. These are typically a part of a Private Placement Memorandum (PPM)

However, unless you are using a PPM - you will need some documents prior to the agreement. Typically, an executive summary which you will use to get interest, then a business plan for those interested parties to review.

Hope this helps. Feel free to drop me a PM or contact me directly, if you want to discuss your specific situation.

Thank you for the shout-out brother Vincent...more importantly, thank you for the invite.  As you know, I'm working on a new mobile app venture and I need me some

I genuinely appreciate your sharing the link where President Obama helps Black business with Two $1 Billion Initiatives for Impact Investing and Early-Stage Seed Financing

The paperwork is likely to be contingent upon the individual angel...I'd get to know them first...and then, ask them what paperwork they need....

I would like to introduce myself, I have a Healthy gourmet pie business, which I am ready to take my business to the next level of a large commercial kitchen and open up a couple of stores..and I need some help. Is there anyone who would be willing to let me rehearse my script, as I start to ask people for money?
